Łukasz Jabkowski advises fintechs, payment and e-money institutions, crypto-asset businesses and other regulated financial firms across the full regulatory lifecycle. His practice covers authorisations, regulatory structuring, AML/CFT, DORA, risk management, outsourcing and strategic transactions, including M&A in regulated markets.
He represents clients before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) and the General Inspector of Financial Information (GIIF), and supports them through supervisory inspections, remediation and financial crime matters. As both a practising lawyer and a certified Compliance Officer, Łukasz combines legal analysis with a practical understanding of regulated operating models — including payments, crypto-assets, open banking and embedded finance — helping clients enter markets, manage regulatory risk and scale across Europe.
The practice focuses on fintech, payments, crypto-assets and regulated financial services, covering licensing, compliance, transactions and supervision.
Advice is based on the client’s operating model, regulatory status and implementation requirements - not only on the wording of the applicable rules.
Łukasz Jabkowski leads each engagement and remains the client’s point of contact from scoping and delivery through to communication with regulators.
